September Camping

We enjoyed an amazing camping trip in a serene redwood setting with a gorgeous field trip outing. Got to know some great homeschool families and am looking forward to spending more time with them. We all had a blast!

One thing I really enjoyed was that each breakfast and dinner was a group effort with several of the families signed up as a team. Other than lunch, each family participated in the making of one meal and they were all delicious! It was wonderful not having to focus on cooking the whole time which often happens on camping trips. The best part was that there was a competitive edge to who would serve the most delicious meal so they were all amazing. Brilliant!

I still feel like I'm a temporary part of this group. It's kind of hard living in a home where we could get notice to leave any day. I'm definitely holding back on developing friendships. I also really miss the ladies in my homeschool group back in OC. Both groups are great but it's amazing how different they are.
